Born from a love of natural self-care and the quiet beauty of the outdoors, Abeille Botanicals is the work of local maker Francesca Acford.

What started as a personal ritual — crafting gentler alternatives to traditional soaps — soon became something more. During the pandemic, as her family reached for her creations to cleanse and care for their hands, it sparked a realisation: this was worth sharing.

Today, each soap, candle, and bathing treat is made with sustainability at its core. Many of the botanicals are grown in Francesca’s own Brighton garden, bringing a true sense of place to every piece. Thoughtful, planet-friendly, and effortlessly beautiful — these are everyday rituals, elevated.

And “Abeille”? It’s French for bee — a quiet nod to the local honey woven into some of the soaps, prized for its naturally nourishing and antibacterial touch.
