Seaweed Hammered Brass Earrings by Stuff Made from Things

I use a textured hammer on the raw brass leaving the surface with a bubbled finish that echoes the organic shapes of seaweed, the undulation and gentle facets really capture the light at you move.

The earrings are raw brass, measuring approximately 6.5cm and hung on gold plated ear wires.

Brass hates moisture! With time brass does patina but it can be bought back to a shine with Brasso and a soft cloth or they can be covered in tomato sauce for a few minutes then washed clean and throughly dried.
