Dot Knits is an ethical knitwear brand specialising in handcrafting items with affordable price tags. Alex runs Dot Knits from her Brighton studio, hand making all items in house. Alex ensures that the yarn used to create these beautiful pieces is either organic or recycled, she enjoys collecting job lots of second hand yarn and transforming these unwanted materials in to limited edition, luxury knitwear. Alex started Dot Knits in homage to her late great-nanny and OG knitting teacher Dot, Dot’s knitting machine is still going strong and used to create many of the Dot Knits pieces. Armed with a full blown obsession of all things knitted, Alex went on to complete a first-class BA (Hons) in Fashion Knitwear at London College of Fashion. Before upping sticks and settling in the colourful town of Brighton.
